The world may be splendid, the life colourful, and the people rich and elegant. As a cultivator, we must always remember death is just like a huge animal hovering in the dark. It may strike and eat us up any moment! To an accomplished cultivator, there is no difference between life and death.

Life itself is a trip. Through traveling, we can experience the meaning of living. As cultivators, we must get rid of all our troubles, our greed for money and status; the afflictions of greed, desire, ignorance, doubt and pride and reach a stage of perfect enlightenment.

If you chant it everyday, you need not chant any other Mantra. It protects you from calamities and confers upon you intelligence, learning and success.
Gayathri is Sarvadevata Swaroopini and Sarvamantra Swaroopini (Embodiment of all Gods and all Mantras) It is said, Gayathri Chhandasam Matha, meaning Gayathri is the mother of vedas.

Buddha Avalokiteshvara, the Compassion Buddha, is the embodiment of the universal compassion of all enlightened beings. By relying upon him, we naturally increase our own compassion.
His first two hands hold a jewel, symbolizing his own enlightenment; his second left hand holds a white lotus flower, symbolizing his complete purity of body, speech and mind;

Incarnated by the left eye of Amitabha, she manifests the merciful heart of Avalokitesvara. Since there are seven eyes on her face, hands and feet, she is also called the seven eyed Mother Buddha. Her three facial eyes represent the three doors to liberation (the three emptinesses) and the other four on her palms and soles symbolize the four immeasurables (love, compassion, joy and equanimity).

Just chant "The true sutra of the High King Sutra" causing calamities to cease, merit to accumulate, to empower others and to promote living kindness. That is why in the High King Sutra, it is said: "able to stop the cycle of life and death, and annihilate all the misfortunes and sufferings". It means a protector god will be with you all the time, and he will ensure that misfortune will not be befallen on you, and you won't suffer from the pain of life and death.
This sutra is highly recomended by the Living Buddha Lian-Sheng or Sheng-yen Lu (Padmakumara) for reciting.

Tara, the female aspect of Avalokiteshvara is the Goddess of Compassion and Mother of Mercy. She is also known as a saviour, as a heavenly deity who hears cries of beings, experiencing misery in samsara; a world of continuous rebirth, death and suffereing. As the female aspect of the universe, she gives birth to warmth compassion and relief from bad karma as experienced by ordinary beings in cyclic existence.
